When I first started modeling, I did everything I was told. I followed every instruction from agents, wore what they said, posed how they wanted, and tried to fit into the mold they told me would “book the job.” I thought that was the key to success—assimilate, stay quiet, stay agreeable.

But then one day, an agent looked me in the face and told me I wasn’t booking work because I was “too dark to relate to clients.”

That moment shattered something in me but it also woke me up. It was the first time I clearly saw how colorism and racism still run deep in the fashion and entertainment industries. And it was the moment I made a decision: I would never again shrink myself to fit someone else’s standards.

I stopped trying to be what I thought agents and clients wanted, and I started owning who I truly was. I found my voice, my power, and my purpose—not just as a model and actress, but as a woman determined to help others do the same.

Today, I teach aspiring models how to walk into any room with confidence, how to present themselves with professionalism, and—most importantly—how to stay rooted in who they are. Because when you know your worth, no one can define it for you.

I created this platform to give women the tools I didn’t have when I started. This is more than modeling—this is about self-respect, resilience, and rewriting the rules for the next generation.

BIO

Christina Gray is an actress, model and filmmaker. Born and raised in Miami Florida, Christina has always had an affinity for the arts since childhood. She started dancing at three years old and singing at twelve. 

Modeling was something that came to her. She was scouted by age twelve by Elite Model Management and went on to win a modeling search at fifteen.

Christina has modeled for brands such as Bath & Body Works, Walmart, JCPenney's, Macy's, Swim n Sport, HSN, and M.A.C and Kosas Cosmetics just to name a few.

She also started a Models Bootcamp where she coached new faces at Wilhemina. In addition, she works with aspiring models and pageant girls transitioning in print modeling and commercial acting. She also started her production company "Room Entertainment" where she produced, wrote, directed and starred in her first film "Tricks" that won Best first-time filmmaker in the Miami Flow film Festival.
